Hello!

I understand that the pace of my tutorials will not suite every student, despite my best efforts. 😔

I mention this again in the introduction video at the end of this section. But if you're affected by the speed of the tutorials, please adjust the playback speed settings to the speed that suites you best.

This will eliminate the problem completely and you'll be able to enjoy the course at a speed you prefer.

I've attached an image at the end of this article showing how to access these settings. 😊

Instructions: While watching any tutorial, pause and click on the 1x icon at the bottom left of the screen and choose the speed you like.

Top Tip!: If you're comfortable with the material being taught, try increasing the playback speed to 1.25x or higher. This allows you to cover more content in less time.

Video Quality Issues at Udemy

I hope every student enrolling in my course has a smooth experience.

Unfortunately, I don’t have control over video quality at Udemy. In most cases, Udemy videos play smoothly, but if you encounter issues, here are some tips to improve video quality:

  1. Disconnect from your VPN or connect to a faster VPN server (if you’re using one).

  2. Enhance your internet connection: Move closer to your router, connect via an Ethernet cable, or reduce the number of devices connected to the network (feel free to tell friends and family that a British man—me—says they should get off the internet).

  3. Lower the video resolution to 720p. This still offers good visual clarity while improving buffering. I’ve included a screenshot at the bottom of this article to show you how to do this.

  4. If a video doesn’t play and shows a blank or black screen, please refresh the page and try again.

Here is a link for student support to help resolve any issues quickly. You might want to click on this link now and keep it open in case you need to reach out to them; it should open in a new tab.

If you decide to leave a rating for my course, I kindly ask for your understanding if you experience any video quality issues. I truly want to help, but my hands are tied. 😔

I hope these recommendations are helpful!

As I mention in the course welcome message. I LOVE to see students complete my courses.

But there is this little thing called "life" that can sometimes get in the way.

If possible, could I encourage you to make it to the end of this first section? This way you will at least make a dent in the course, potentially paving the way for your success.

On the other hand, if you have every intention of completing this course and this message is just getting in the way, then all I can say is GO, GO, GO!
